We have an urgent C#.net opening for one of our financial client in NYC.

Description

This Developer role is for the Global Securities Lending applications. The technology is primarily in MS.Net (C#), Sybase, Unix/C++/Java/Perl.

The scope of the developer role involves working in a small group and participating in complete SDLC phases.

The candidate should be able to create design document. Should be geared towards leveraging the existing framework.

Be a hands-on developer in the Construction phase. Participate in the System Integration Test phase.

Must have:

Total of 7+ years of experience out of which 2 years experience in application development in Financial Industry.

Technical experience with Unix, Sybase/ SQL Server (2yrs+), Object Oriented Design, Windows NT, Messaging/Message Broker; XML experience would be a plus.

Hands on coding with MS.Net / C# (2 yrs+), Object Oriented Design/Programming(4yrs+)

Strong written and oral communication skills are required.

Strong system design skills.

Must be a Self starter and able to prioritise & multi task between several issues
